Wednesday's Wonderful Collection - J.H. and Garner Fraser Papers, MS.000027

James Hubbard Fraser was born 1841 in Alabama and was the editor of the Clinton Banner newspaper in Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas, 1881-1882. He was also a lawyer and a judge.

John Garner Fraser was born in 1875 in Clinton, son of James Hubbard Fraser. Garner Fraser was a lawyer, judge, and civic leader in Clinton. He served on the 14th Judicial Circuit Court for thirteen years. Fraser died December 16, 1952.

This collection contains manuscripts written by John Garner Fraser, along with fragments of legal documents, typescripts, newsclippings, and articles.
